BACH 2 BACH January 14, 2008 (NASHVILLE) - The Music City Community Chorus presents BACH 2 BACH a free concert of chorus music by Johann Sebastian Bach and Carl Philippe Emanuel Bach, on Tuesday evening, February 5 at 7:30 pm at Belmont United Methodist Church, 2007 Acklen Avenue in Nashville Tennessee. For this current season’s Music City Community Chorus outing, conductor Renee Grant-Williams has chosen to present the Magnificat, one of the most important vocal works composed by J.S.Bach. During the latter half of the program they will perform the rarely heard Magnificat written by his son C.P.E. Bach. The chorus will be accompanied throughout by the Excelsior Chamber Orchestra.MUSIC CITY COMMUNITY CHORUS August 21, 2007 (Nashville)—The Music City Community Chorus announces auditions for its Fall Season.
